Welcome to "The Shit They Don’t Tell You" blog!

Hi, I’m Rachele Macera, a mother of two with a third on the way. As a doula, childbirth educator, and lactation specialist, I’ve dedicated the last few years to empowering women through the incredible journey of motherhood. From pregnancy to childhood, I’ve been there to support moms every step of the way. Yet, even with all my personal experiences and the countless stories from the moms I’ve helped, I often find myself thinking, “And this is the shit they don’t tell you.”

So here I am, embarking on another journey. In this blog, I’ll pick a topic weekly (let’s be honest, I’m a busy mom, so it might be monthly) to discuss the things no one tells you about pregnancy, labor, postpartum, and toddlerhood.
